As a ger tzedek (and recent, too) with views pretty similar to what you describe here, I find myself wondering at times how far I can go in expressing such views without encountering "legitimacy" problems. I guess we will see...<BR/><BR/>One other thought: Is belief that Jews are the Chosen People inconsistent with a "focus primarily on humanity"? That is, what's wrong with seeing ourselves as "chosen" to spread the universal message that all humanity--all creation--is One?
